Join the 2026 KIBS Summer International Workcamp!

Experience a world of cultural exchange and global volunteering. We are looking for passionate KIBS students to join our international projects in Europe this summer!

It is a global voluntary service program where youths from all over the world live together for 2–3 weeks to collaborate on community projects and share their cultures.


1. Program Details

  • Destinations: European countries including France, Italy, Germany, and Spain (excluding Iceland).
  • Period: Approximately 2 weeks between June and August 2026.
  • Activities: Environmental conservation, cultural heritage preservation, local festival support, and facility maintenance.
  • KIBS Subsidy: Approximately 1,000,000 KRW (covers program fee + partial airfare).
    • Additional support may be available based on income bracket.

2. Eligibility & Recruitment

  • Target: Current KIBS students at Kookmin University (Freshmen to Seniors).
    • Priority is given to freshmen if there are many applicants.
  • Total Recruits: Approximately 10 students.

3. Application Process

  • Deadline: Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
  • Required Documents:
    1. Application Form.
    2. Copy of Passport (must have at least 6 months validity).
    3. Copy of Bankbook.
    4. List of Overseas Residence/Visits.
    5. Income Bracket Proof (Optional).
  • How to Submit: Hand-deliver to the KIBS Academic Affairs Office (International Bldg., Room 202).

4. Important Dates

  • Results Announcement: April 30 (Wed).
  • Host Country Announcement: May 22 (Fri).
  • Pre-training & Workshops: Scheduled for May and June (Attendance is mandatory).

5. Estimated Costs

  • Program Fee: 600,000 KRW (Includes room and board during the program).
  • Personal Expenses: Round-trip airfare, travel insurance, visa fees, and personal pocket money (not covered by the program fee).

Note: When applying, you may select up to 3 preferred programs. Since each project limits Korean participants to 1–3 people, placement is based on first-come, first-served principles after the orientation.
