2026학년도 1학기 성적포기 추가신청안내 / Application for Deleting (Cancelling) Previously Earned Course Grades

1. Definition of Grade Cancellation A system that allows students in their 7th semester to cancel grades for up to 6 credits among the courses they have completed.

2. Eligibility

  • Target: Current students in their 7th semester.

  • Special Exception (Spring 2026 only): Students in their 8th semester or higher and candidates for graduation are also eligible to apply.

3. Eligible Courses

  • Courses for which grades were earned prior to the current application semester (excluding exceptions below).

4. Ineligible Courses

  • Grades earned through External Programs (SGE, Field Internship, Exchange Student Program, Overseas Language Training, Military Credits, etc.).

  • Grades earned through Credit Recognition (Transfer, Readmission, Change of Major, etc.).

5. Credit Limit

  • Maximum of 6 credits, allowed only once during your total enrollment period (standardly during the 7th semester).

6. Application Period

  • Monday, May 4, 2026 (10:00) – Thursday, May 7, 2026 (23:59:59)

7. How to Apply

  • ON-Kookmin Portal → Academic Services → Grade Cancellation (성적포기)

8. Approval Reflection

  • Results will be updated on the ON-Kookmin Portal after 16:00 on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

9. Important Notes

  가. Students in their 8th semester, candidates for graduation, applicants for early graduation, completed students, and students in extra semesters are generally not eligible.

       However, as a one-time exception for Spring 2026, students in their 8th semester and graduation candidates may apply.

  나. Once a grade is cancelled, the action cannot be revoked or corrected.

  다. Cancelled credits will be excluded from the total earned credits and will be marked as 'W' (Withdraw) on the transcript.

  라. If a student has a history of academic warning, that record will remain even after the grade cancellation.

  마. This additional application period is being implemented for the Spring 2026 semester only, as this is the inaugural period of the Grade Cancellation System.
