Please read the following information carefully before registering for courses for the Fall 2026 Semester.

1. Course Registration

A. Eligible Students

  • Undergraduate students enrolled for the Fall 2026 Semester

Please note that the course registration schedule and class operation plan are subject to change. Any updates will be announced separately.

Class Schedule & Course Syllabus Available July 22 (Wed), 10:00 AM (Expected) ON Kookmin Portal → Academic Services → Course Information → Course Search (Course Syllabus). Course syllabi cannot be viewed between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM during the registration period.

Registration closes at 11:00 PM on Sept. 7
Course Cancellation (Class Closure) 1st Round: Aug. 28 (Fri) (Tentative)
2nd Round: Sept. 9 (Wed) (Tentative)
Students must check their schedules after class cancellations.

2. Important Notes

  1. Course Registration System
    • Both the Shopping Cart and Course Registration are available through the Kookmin University Course Registration System:
      https://sugang.kookmin.ac.kr
  2. K-Smart Mentor*
    • Students may use K-Smart Mentor (https://kssm.kookmin.ac.kr)* to:
      • simulate course schedules,
      • transfer shopping cart selections to the registration system,
      • view AI-generated summaries of course syllabi.
  3. Academic Integrity
    • Any abnormal or unauthorized registration methods, including course trading, macro programs, or proxy registration, are strictly prohibited.
    • Students found engaging in such activities will have all registered courses canceled and may be subject to disciplinary action.
  4. Delayed Re-registration System
    • A randomized delay is applied when a course is dropped.
    • If one student drops a course, another student cannot immediately register for that seat. Registration becomes available only after a random waiting period.
  5. Registration Confirmation
    • Course registration is considered complete only if the course appears in:
      • "My Timetable" in the Course Registration System, or
      • "Personal Timetable" on the ON Kookmin Portal.
  6. Course Syllabus Access
    • Course syllabi are unavailable from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM during the course registration period. Students are encouraged to review syllabi in advance.
  7. Restrictions on Parent–Child Enrollment
    • Students are prohibited from enrolling in courses taught by their parent.
    • If enrollment is unavoidable, prior approval from the Academic Affairs Team is required before registration.
