2026 Academic Year 2nd Semester Grade Cancellation Application Guide

We hereby announce the schedule and method for the 2026 Academic Year 2nd Semester grade cancellation application as follows. Students who wish to cancel their grades must fully understand the application eligibility and restriction conditions below and apply within the period.

◇ What is Grade Cancellation :
A system that allows enrolled students in their 5th semester or higher to cancel grades for a maximum of 6 credits only 1 time among the courses they have completed.

1. Eligible Students: Enrolled students in their 5th semester or higher (※ Students on leave and enrolled students in semesters 1~4 cannot apply)
2. Application & Approval Schedule
   Application Period : 2026. 09. 14. (Mon) 10:00 ~ 2026. 09. 17. (Thu) 23:59
   Grade Reflection/Approval : Expected to be reflected on the ON-Kookmin Portal after 2026. 09. 21. (Mon) 15:00
3. Cancelable Credits
   Maximum of 6 credits can be applied only 1 time while enrolled (Ineligible if you have a history of previous application)
4. Cancelable Courses : Courses that have earned grades prior to the grade cancellation request (Excluding non-cancelable courses below)
5. Non-Cancelable Courses : Off-campus courses (SGE, field placement/internship, exchange student programs, overseas language study, military credits, etc.) and
   courses that received credit recognition (transfer, readmission, major transfer, etc.) cannot be cancelled

7. Important Notices
   A. Students who have completed course requirements but have not graduated cannot apply
   B. Cancellation and correction of the cancelled grade are completely impossible [Ensure in advance that you do not fall short of graduation or completion requirements due to a lack of earned credits after grade cancellation]
   C. Cancelled grades are excluded from earned credits and will be marked as W(Withdraw) on the transcript.
   D. If there is a history of academic warning prior to grade cancellation, the academic warning record remains even after grade cancellation.
   E. Application and cancellation are only possible within the period, and are impossible outside the period. (Strict deadline)
