Notice of Customized Major Approval Results (Spring Semester 2026)

The results of the Spring 2026 Customized Major Recognition Application are announced as follows.

1. Checking the Results

A. Release Date

Tuesday, August 4, 2025, after 10:00 AM

B. Check Customized Major Recognition

Go to:

ONKookmin Portal → Academic Services → Academic Records → Semester Grades (Undergraduate)

Check the Course Classification of the courses you applied for.

• Approved
  • First Major: Major Elective
  • Second Major: Second Major
  • Third Major: Third Major
• Not Approved
  • The course classification remains General Elective or the classification originally assigned at the time of application.

C. Check Recognition of Required Courses

Go to:

ONKookmin Portal → Academic Services → Graduation Information → Completion Status by Category (First Major / Multiple Major)

Check the Completion Status of the courses you applied for under Required Courses.

• Approved: Displayed as Customized
• Not Approved: Displayed as Not Completed

2. Important Notes

A.

If your application for Customized Major recognition is not approved, you cannot reapply for the same course.

B.

Courses approved under the Customized Major program will be changed to General Elective if your academic status changes in the future. No other changes to the course classification will be permitted.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• After recognition as a First Major, changing your first major or transferring to another college (department).
• After recognition as a Multiple Major, changing or withdrawing from the multiple major, or applying for a minor instead.
• Any other changes affecting the major for which the Customized Major recognition was granted.

C.

Courses approved as Customized Major courses cannot be retaken.
