Notice on Confirmation of Graduation Review Eligibility for the First Graduation Period of Academic Year 2026 (February 2027 Graduation)

Students currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 semester and students who have completed their coursework and are subject to the graduation review for February 2027 must check whether they have been officially designated as graduation review candidates.

1. Graduation Review Candidates (February 2027)

• Graduation review candidates are students whose eligibility for graduation in February 2027 will be evaluated.

• Students who fail the graduation review will not be eligible to graduate in February 2027.

• Students who fail the graduation review but fulfill all coursework completion requirements will be classified as students who have completed their coursework.

• Students who pass the graduation review will be eligible for graduation.

2. Eligibility for Graduation Review (Examples)

A. Currently enrolled students

Students who will have completed a total of eight or more enrolled semesters, including the Fall 2026 semester.

B. Transfer students

Eligibility is determined using the following formula:

[Semester level at transfer admission + Number of semesters enrolled after transfer – 1] ≥ 8

Example: A student who transferred into the 5th semester (junior year, first semester) and has completed four semesters at Kookmin University, including Fall 2026, is eligible for graduation review.

5 + 4 – 1 = 8 semesters

C. Readmitted students

Eligibility is determined using the following formula:

[Semester level at readmission + Number of semesters enrolled after readmission – 1] ≥ 8

Example: A student who was readmitted into the 6th semester (junior year, second semester) and has completed three semesters after readmission, including Fall 2026, is eligible for graduation review.

6 + 3 – 1 = 8 semesters

Note: Students who have repeated a semester due to academic retention must complete additional semesters corresponding to the number of repeated semesters.

D. Early graduation applicants

Students who have applied for and received approval for early graduation (6th or 7th semester).

E. Combined Bachelor's–Master's Degree Program students

Students who maintain their eligibility for the combined Bachelor's–Master's Degree Program (7th semester).

F. Students who have completed their coursework

Students classified as having completed their coursework as of Fall 2026.

3. How to Confirm Graduation Review Eligibility

Portal Path:

ON Kookmin Portal → Academic Services → Graduation Information → Graduation Eligibility/Results

Please check whether the following message appears:

"You are a graduation review candidate for the First Graduation Period of Academic Year 2026 (February 2027)."

Important Notice:

If you meet the eligibility requirements listed above but the system displays "No applicable information found," you must contact your department office or the Academic Affairs Team to verify your status.
